I have travelled to Australia with partner Alison to (I hope!) view the total solar eclipse on 14th November. (local time) visible from parts of Queensland. We will also travel through New Zealand to visit the dark skies above Lake Tekapo as well as taking in the legendary scenery.
I will post a few extracts from my blog of the trip which may be of interest to those of you who, like me, have never seen the southern stars before.
